Abstract: The professional development capabilities of teachers are essential for determining the developmental level of a school and the quality of talent training. This study employs Quality Function Deployment (QFD) theory to investigate the professional development capabilities of young teachers at private universities under the context of transformation. Utilizing surveys and statistical analysis as primary research methods, this research designs dimensions for both student capability needs and teacher professional development. By analyzing the correlation data between these dimensions, and employing the House of Quality relationship matrix, the study explores the interrelationships between student needs and young teacher professional capabilities, identifying key elements and directions for enhancement. It also proposes strategies for enhancing the professional development capabilities of young teachers in private universities.
