Abstract: With the deepening of economic globalization, multinational enterprises are facing more and more complex cultural differences and management challenges. As an effective way to cope with cultural differences in different countries and regions, cross-cultural management is of great significance for enhancing the global competitiveness of multinational enterprises. This paper first expounds the connotation of cross-cultural management and analyzes the influence of cultural differences on the management of transnational enterprises. Secondly, it discusses the role of cross-cultural management in enhancing the global competitiveness of multinational enterprises, including enhancing the adaptability of corporate culture, promoting global human resource management, optimizing the decision-making of multinational enterprises, and enhancing the ability of international operation of enterprises. Finally, measures and suggestions such as strengthening cultural awareness, strengthening cross-cultural communication, improving global human resource management system, and building multicultural organizations are put forward to enhance the cross-cultural management ability of transnational enterprises, so as to gain a dominant position in the global market competition.
